See the live carrier price before you book the label. Booking shows the carrier's current price up front, so you confirm the exact amount and book with confidence. Multi-piece shipments book in a single call where the carrier supports it, their labels group under one master tracking number, and you can download, print, or open a label the moment it's bought — with the carrier's own response shown to you in plain terms.

Set the carrier on the segment; confirm it at booking. Each segment carries its own carrier, service, and account, and the buy screen confirms exactly what's set. The account a segment was rated against travels with it, the shipper's own account pays, you can switch a segment's service and re-rate, and segments show a readable service name.

Every quote segment keeps the exact address and person you picked. Type a door address and both the street and the contact stay with it; the contact you choose on a segment is the one the quote keeps; and each address carries its own contact through to shipping. Shipper and consignee now share one compact row.

Smarter carrier pickups. Segments collecting from the same dock on the same day ride one truck, and pickup times go out in the dock's local time so collections land on the right day. Pickup and drop-off are ready as soon as the label exists, with the pickup service pre-filled from the rate.

Warehouse charges flow into the quote and the invoice. Author charges on a warehouse receipt — auto-priced from your fee rates — and pull them onto a quote or a shipment, each tagged with its source and billed once. Warehouse receipts now have their own first-class list and home.

Automatic emails, unified — with a record of everything sent. Auto-sent documents and customer notifications run through one engine, and a new Sent view gives you a single history of every outbound message. Invoices send due and past-due reminders on a schedule, quotes and cargo-releases can trigger mail of their own, and each contact opts into the mail they want — all under your own sending identity.

Clearer shipment status. Status reflects your carriers' real commitments at a glance, and the activity timeline reads like a live feed of what's happened.

The quote builder, rebuilt around choice. Every segment now has a Costs card and a Browse Options picker, so you can see what each carrier would charge and pick per segment. Ortely flags when a pinned rate has gone stale and re-validates it at booking, so your quote always carries a current price. Draft quotes are editable in place — reopen one and recompose it — and quotes can be deleted, archived, and restored.

Quote from cargo already in your warehouse. Pull pieces from a warehouse receipt into a quote — all of them or just a subset — and pull from several receipts on one quote, each staying its own group. Accepting the quote now allocates those pieces to the shipment rather than copying them, so one physical carton stays one record.

Every active shipment on one board. A new tracking board shows everything in motion across air, ocean, ground, and courier, with live status, the last milestone, ETA, and any open exceptions in a single view.

Air waybill updates arrive by email. Forward carrier telex messages to Ortely and they're read automatically, with every value a carrier sends captured and attributed to the segment it belongs to.

Richer UPS tracking. Delivery photos and the name of whoever signed are captured on delivery, and each connection now shows exactly which UPS APIs it's entitled to use, so you can turn on only what your account actually has.

Insurance and duties, priced properly. Charge value-based fees like insurance and duty from your rate card, scoped per segment, with DDU/DDP set on each segment so duties are billed only when the Incoterm says they're yours. Duties now post as a pass-through rather than revenue, so your margin reflects what you actually earned.

Bill matching that does the first pass for you. Ortely suggests which bill lines match which shipment charges and lets you confirm the high-confidence ones in bulk, with any buy-side variance shown against what you quoted.

Cross-currency accounting on a real rate. A bill or invoice in a different currency than your books posts at a rate you provide, so your numbers reflect true exchange.

Customer email that looks like it's from you. Mail to your customers goes out under your own verified sending identity and letterhead, not Ortely's.

Pack and mark up each segment on its own terms. A piece can pack differently on each segment of a journey, and markup can be set per segment rather than once for the whole quote.

Shop live carrier rates right in the quote builder. Pull real-time rates for a segment, compare carriers in one picker, and pin the one you want — the pinned rate carries straight into booking, pre-filled. Rates are cached, so previewing a quote is instant, and each segment can draw its price from a contract or a live source as you choose.

Warehouse receipts get their own home. A full-width receipts list with filters, sortable columns, and paging, plus a dedicated detail page and a smoother receiving flow. Link a receipt to a quote and the manifest depth is worked out from its overpacks.

Pay many bills in a single run. Approve a batch of bills and disburse them together in one payment run, with a remittance advice PDF to send on. On the receivables side, you can now refund a customer's credit balance back out as cash.

Currency gains and losses, tracked for you. When an invoice or bill settles in a different currency than it was raised, Ortely now records the realized gain or loss automatically across both receivables and payables. Set your functional currency in FX settings, and turn on the optional auto-FX-rates add-on to keep rates current without touching them.

Withdraw or delete a quote. Pull back a quote when plans change — state-gated so you can't undo something already in motion, and it works from the customer portal too. New quotes now ask for a customer up front, and the quote's currency follows that customer.

Carrier connections, safer and simpler. Edit a stored carrier credential in place, connect FedEx without leaving the flow, and let export and import shipments pick the right FedEx account on their own. Sandbox connections stay cleanly separated from live ones.

Support that routes itself. New routing rules auto-assign incoming tickets by condition, and people who reach you by email get a short satisfaction survey once their ticket is resolved.

A roomier, more consistent workspace. Pages now use the full width of your screen, tabs look and behave the same everywhere, and lists share a cleaner, unified header.

Voice and command bar now draft, split, and schedule. From the mic or command bar you can ask Ortely to build a priced quote, split or merge cargo pieces, schedule a pickup, and mark a milestone on any shipment — confirming each action before it saves.

Edit shipments, rates, and cargo in place. Shipment details, rate terms, and cargo pieces all save as you change them, right where you see them.

Invoice due dates set themselves. When payment terms are set on a customer, new invoices automatically calculate and fill in the due date. You can also choose whether the invoice date follows the booking or the shipment date.

Billing is one page. Your subscription, usage, and invoice history now sit together in a single tabbed page in Settings.

Fuller team management. Invite teammates with the complete role set in one step, resend pending invitations, and restore a previously removed member — all from the team list.

Choose how many rows to show per list. Pick 25, 50, 75, or 100 per page — your choice is saved per view, and the current page stays in the URL so links land exactly where you expect.

The voice assistant handles a lot more. You can now change a shipment's status, edit shipments, parties, and pieces, act on quotes and invoices, and add notes to any record — all by voice or the command bar. Say "yes" to confirm a pending draft without reaching for the keyboard.

Credit notes issue automatically when freight is re-rated. When a booked shipment is re-priced up or down, the matching invoice supplement or credit note is created at the same moment — no manual reconciliation step needed.

Warehouse receiving can trigger a re-rate. An org-level toggle lets you automatically update freight rates when cargo is received, so your records stay current without a manual step after each receipt.

Rate validity, dimensions, and commodity on create and edit. You can now set effective and expiry dates, the dimensional factor, commodity, day-of-week restrictions, and rate source when creating a rate or editing it later.

Per-segment cargo detail in the quote builder. Specify the manifest level and overpacks for each segment of a multi-segment quote, giving carriers the detail they need for accurate pricing.

USPS address deliverability check before booking. USPS shipments now confirm the delivery address is reachable before the label is purchased, surfacing any issues while you can still act on them.

USPS pickup pre-fills from your selected shipments. When you schedule a pickup from the shipment list, the collection address is drawn from the selected shipments automatically.

Direction-aware carrier accounts. For carriers that separate export and import credentials, Ortely now selects the right account based on shipment direction automatically.

Live SITA cargo messaging. Air freight operators can connect a SITA Data Connect subscription and route cargo messages through their own SITA address, removing the need for a third-party relay.

UPS shipping, end to end. Connect UPS with a guided sign-in, then rate and compare services, book labels, void, track, and schedule on-call pickups without leaving Ortely.

More from FedEx. One Rate flat pricing, a multi-product picker for Express, Ground, and SmartPost, Hold-At-Location pickup points, return tags, and FedEx-generated commercial invoices are now available in the quote composer and on bookings.

DHL eCommerce returns. Generate DHL return labels and surface drop-off and locker points for eCommerce shipments.

Print every document for a shipment. New commercial invoices, packing lists, ocean and road bills of lading, and CN22/CN23 customs declarations — plus one click that bundles every document for a shipment into a single downloadable packet. Quotes export to PDF too.

A voice assistant (add-on). A hands-free mic lets you dictate to create drafts and look things up, reads results back so you can confirm before saving, with a choice of voices. Turn it on for your whole team or toggle it with a keyboard shortcut, and see its usage on your bill.

A smarter inbox. Incoming email is sorted automatically — customer details, warehouse receipts, and vendor invoices each route to the right next step, so you can create the record in one click. Re-classify a draft if it's misread, and filter the queue by sender or date range.

Different cargo on each segment. Quotes and the composer now let you describe pieces and weights per segment, add a manual charge line, and refresh an expired quote with its inputs pre-filled.

Lists you can shape. Choose which columns appear, click any header to sort, and resize or reorder columns with horizontal scroll — across every list.

A workspace that fits how you work. Settings is reorganized into clear groups with a card index, dashboards have role-based defaults you can rearrange, you can set the dashboard text size, and address forms now lead with country. You can sign up from anywhere in the world.

Quote diagnostics when a rate doesn't match. Quotes now show the closest-miss reason when no rate is found, and you can override the price on any individual segment by hand — so a near-miss never blocks you.

Find and add customers without leaving the form. A new customer picker lets you type-to-search anywhere a customer is needed, and create a new one inline if they're not there yet.

Copy a party into a new record. Duplicate an existing contact or company into a pre-filled create form from the command menu — no re-typing shared details.

Stronger contact and tax details. Contacts now require a name plus an email or phone, tax IDs validate by country and type, and credit limits use a proper currency picker — fewer bad records, less cleanup later.

Refunds and billing notices in Settings. Refunds now show directly on Settings → Billing, with clearer banners when a payment needs your attention.

New shipments start as drafts. Creating a shipment now opens it in draft, so nothing is treated as quoted before you're ready.

Clearer, more consistent feedback everywhere. Every create, update, and delete confirms with a toast, error messages stay put until dismissed, delete actions are marked in red, and address forms lead with country.
